Our friendly pharmacists provide COVID-19, Influenza, Whooping Cough Vaccinations and others vaccines on Western Australian Immunisation Schedule Vaccinations to individuals aged 5+ years from 8am – 6pm every day.
Our Nurse Practitioners also provide vaccinations against other infectious diseases.
COVID-19 vaccination
Adults and adolescents from 12 years and over can now book an appointment for a free COVID-19 vaccine.

Whooping Cough
Vaccination is recommended for:
- Routine vaccination in infants, children and adolescents
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Every 10 years for healthcare workers, early childhood educators and carers and people in close contact with infants

Western Australian Immunisation Schedule Vaccinations
Eligible individuals can get vaccinated against the following illnesses at Beaufort Chemist:
- Human Papilloma Virus
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella
- Pneumococcal
- Hepatitis B
- Herpes Zoster (Shingles)
- Meningococcal
- Polio
- Varicella (chickenpox)
All vaccinations provided will be recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register.
Different types of vaccine funding
Eligible under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) in pharmacy
The National Immunisation Program (NIP) Schedule is a series of free immunisations given at specific times throughout your life. The immunisations range from birth through to adulthood. Patients eligible under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) in pharmacy can receive NIP vaccines if they meet the eligibility criteria listed on the NIP.

Certain vaccines are eligible privately based on the Australian Immunisation Handbook recommendations.

Pharmacist Administration
Our pharmacist on duty can provide this service to individuals aged 5+ years from 8am to 6pm on most days, please call to check
Private: vaccine fee plus an administration fee of $20
Eligible under NIP: FREE (for those who meet the NIP eligibility criteria)
Nurse Practitioner Administration

Flu vaccination
Our Flu Vaccination service costs $29.95 for those aged 5 - 64 years obtaining the egg-based trivalent Influenza vaccine.
Intranasal Flu Vaccine (Ages 2–17)
The intranasal flu vaccine is available for eligible children and adolescents. The intranasal flu vaccine is free for eligible children aged 2–17 years under the WA State Funded Intranasal Influenza Program from mid-April 2026. Children and adolescents 12-17 years may still receive this intranasal flu vaccine privately for $65.
Free influenza vaccine program May to July 2026
From 1 May to 30 June 2026, free state-funded influenza vaccines are available to people aged 12 to 64 years who are not otherwise eligible for a free influenza vaccine under the NIP. Persons without a Medicare card and those travelling to Western Australia, are also eligible for a vaccine under the Free Influenza Vaccine Program .
Our pharmacists administer government-funded (NIP) influenza vaccines for all eligible persons:
- Aboriginal persons aged 5 years and above
- Pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy
- Persons aged 65 years and above
- People aged 5 years and over with certain medical conditions. Refer to medical conditions below.:

Aged 65 and over?
The Australian Department of Health funds the cost of vaccines for people who are at high risk of Influenza and its complications under the NIP (National Immunisation Program). As of 1st January 2024, people aged 65 years and over are eligible to receive their Government-funded NIP Influenza vaccine at Beaufort Chemist at no charge*.
Guild Corporate Health Vaccination Program
The Guild Corporate Health Vaccination Program offers an economical and convenient way for employers to facilitate vaccinations in the workplace. As opposed to existing workplace vaccination programs that involve in-office visits by healthcare professionals, the Program is flexible in that it allows staff to choose the date, time and local pharmacy most convenient to them (via the Guild member network).
